LORA is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
It supports your GLP-1 journey with tracking and general guidance. Always follow your
clinician's instructions, and in an emergency call 999 (or your local emergency number).
This policy explains what personal data LORA ("we", "us") collects, why, and the choices
you have. We collect only what the app needs to work and to keep you safe.
Who we are
LORA is a digital-health companion app for people using GLP-1 medications, through active
treatment, tapering and beyond. You can contact us any time at
lora@monoblank.com.
Information we collect
Account details — your email address and display name. If you sign in
with Apple or Google, we receive a verified email (or Apple's private relay address) and,
where you allow it, your name.
Health & wellbeing check-ins — information you choose to log, such as
mood, energy, food noise, hunger, weight, medication and dose, and any side effects.
Apple Health data — if you connect Apple Health, we read metrics you
permit (for example weight, steps and sleep) to pre-fill check-ins and show progress.
Access is read-only; we never write to Apple Health.
Ask LORA conversations — the questions you send to the in-app assistant
and its replies.
Device & technical data — a push-notification token (if you enable
notifications) and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
To provide the app: save your check-ins, show progress, and personalise guidance to your
treatment phase.
To keep you safe: detect patterns that may need attention and surface appropriate
safety information.
To send the notifications you have opted into (daily reminders, milestones, summaries).
To maintain, secure and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Research use of de-identified data
This is off unless you turn it on. If you opt in (during setup, or any time from
Me → Data & Privacy), we may use a de-identified copy of your tracked data, with
direct identifiers such as your name and email removed, to study GLP-1 treatment outcomes and
improve care. That can include aggregate research we publish or share with research partners. It
is entirely optional, it never affects your use of the app, and you can withdraw consent at any
time, which stops future research use.
The Ask LORA assistant
When you use Ask LORA, your message is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a
response. This data is processed under OpenAI's API terms and is not used to
train their models. Please avoid sharing information you would not want processed this way.
Service providers we share data with
OpenAI — to power the Ask LORA assistant.
Apple & Google — for Sign in with Apple / Google and, for Apple,
push notification delivery (APNs).
Our email provider — to send account emails such as password resets.
Our hosting provider — servers located in the European Union
(Germany) that store your data.
These providers process data only on our instructions and under their own security and
privacy commitments.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on servers in the European Union and encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
We keep automated backups to protect against loss.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your
personal data, subject to any short retention required for backups, security or legal reasons.
Your rights and choices
Access & export — you can export a full copy of your data from within
the app at any time.
Deletion — you can delete your account and associated data from the app.
Permissions — you control Apple Health and notification access from iOS
Settings, and can revoke them at any time.
Depending on where you live (for example under UK/EU GDPR), you may also have rights to
correct data or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these.
Children
LORA is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will revise the "last updated" date above
and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
